SACRAMENTO HEALTHY HEART AND MIND COLLABORATIVE

Sacramento Healthy HeART and Mind Collaborative

Sacramento Healthy HeART is a program that addresses the Social Emotional and Mental Healthy needs of students in the Sacramento Area. The program integrates mentoring, arts, and mental health support for students who are still struggling from the aftermath of COVID-19.

Services

Artists-in-Residence:

This program uses the arts as a strategy to address mental health issues, trauma, absenteeism, and other well-documented effects of our county's at-risk youth. Artists will be instructing groups of 10 students per class, but no more than 60 per school.

Mentors:

Mentors will work alongside the resident artist during class sessions as well as check in with participating students individually throughout the school week.
